Ohia Lehua and Apapane Cosmetic Bag

This 8x5 canvas pouch features a black zipper and beautiful print of an 'apapane bird and lehua blossom, made by a local artist in Hawaii. It’s the perfect size for holding pens, toiletries, makeup, cash, and more. Whether you stash it in a larger bag or carry it on its own, you can throw it in the wash for easy cleaning. The feathers of the 'apapane bird were used in the creation of capes, lei, and helmets for Hawaii's royalty. The ʻōhiʻa lehua is the first plant to blossom from lava fields and are sacred to both Pele (the goddess of the volcano) and Laka (the goddess of hula). This is one of my most favorite prints!! Each cosmetic bag is hand-pressed in my home studio with original designs I have created myself or with licensed designs I have curated from artists. My printing process uses sublimation ink, which permanently fuses with the fabric when pressed so that you can enjoy long-lasting color without worrying about peeling or fading.

★ Size: Bags are roughly 8x5; interior dimensions slightly smaller due to seams and zipper.

★ Material & Care Instructions: Bags are made from a polyester/cotton blend. For best results, machine wash cold and hang dry.

★ Shipping & Processing: Cosmetic Bags are wrapped in colorful tissue paper and shipped in a bubble mailer. It takes me 1-3 days to process and produce your order before it is shipped. I try to ship orders as soon as possible whenever I can.
